PATH INCA A MACHU PICCHU 5 Days and 4 Nights
Day 1 Cusco – KM 82 – Piscacucho – Wayllabamba
At 6:30 a.m. We will pick you up from your hotel to transport you by bus to Km. 82 where we will be arriving at approximately 10:00 a.m. The first day is quite easy in the first Km., We will have a beautiful view of the snowy La Veronica and we will walk next to the Vilcanota river until arriving at the archaeological group of Patallacta, where we can have lunch to recover forces and then continue until arriving at Huayllabamba, where We will make our first camp.
Day 2 Wayllabamba – Lulluchapampa – Pacaymayo
After breakfast, we will begin our second day of trekking, perhaps the most difficult, since we will have to ascend to the open of Warmihuañusca, at 4,200 m.s.n.m. In this place, the highest of the Inka Trail, we can enjoy a panoramic view of the snowy surrounding the open. After lunch begins the descent to the valley of the Pacaymayo, where we will make our second camp.
Day3 Pacaymayo – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñaywayna
After breakfast we return to the Archaeological group of Runqurakay. From this point the path is paved. In some places it can have up to 2 mts. Wide and you can observe the quality of Inca engineering. We will visit Sayacmarca, a beautiful architectural complex; We will pass through a tunnel, dug in the mountain stone, to reach the archaeological group of Phuyapatamarka, from where begins the descent by an extremely attractive road, with bushy vegetation of the forest eyebrow, very rich in flora and fauna. After two we will arrive at Wiñayhuayna, where we will install our third and last camp. Optional: we can use the showers of the restaurant that exists in the place, good option to take a rich shower of cold or hot water.
Day 4 Wiñayhyana – Machu Picchu
After breakfast we will continue the walk until arriving at Intipunku (Puerta del Sol) from where we will have a spectacular view of the lost city of the Incas Machupicchu, we will descend on foot, then we will have approximately 2 hours a visit by the most important places next to its Guide, then we can explore the mysterious city as we will have free time. Then we will board the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to spend the night in a standard hotel.
Day 5: Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Service Cerrojo backpacker (to Ollantaytambo) and bus Cusco. We will be in Cusco at approximately noon.
